Harvey Mudd College will be closed from 3pm on Friday, December 19, to 8am on Monday, January 5, Pacific Standard Time (PST). During this period, the Office of Admission will not process application materials. This means your checklist might not update with received documents like school records and letters of recommendation.
Don’t worry if your application isn’t completed by then. Missing materials after the deadline is common, and it won’t affect your admission decision. We typically receive additional documents after the deadline, and we’ll contact you if we need more information.
We’ll resume processing applications on January 5, 2026. If we still need materials after a few days, we’ll get in touch with you to help resolve any issues.
If you have questions, start by checking the Application FAQs. On January 2, 2026, at 1:00pm PST, the Office of Admission will host a webinar titled “Down to the Wire: Insights into the Selection Process” to answer questions about the application process. You can also email admission@hmc.edu with your queries, though responses might be delayed during the winter break.
Check the official portal directly for further details.
